Prayer Warriors 

Sweet Hour of Prayer

The Apopka SDA Church believes in the power of intercessory
prayer. A group of dedicated prayer warriors meets every Sabbath afternoon
to pray for the church, our community, our families, and for individual
needs. We have seen wonderful answers to prayer in the two years that we
have been meeting. Health has been restored, families reunited, and
strength and personal commitment to Christ has increased. We have a core
group of about a dozen who meet faithfully every week, and many in the
church feel welcome to come when they need special prayer.
A Prayer Ministry has grown out of this faithful group.
We hold periodic prayer vigils and also encourage and support home-based
prayer groups. Prayer is the "breath of the soul" and a
vital part of every ministry for Christ. We are thankful to God for giving
us this special life-line and are committed to serving Him as we pray for
guidance and power through the Holy Spirit.
